How to NEVER Run Out of Original & Engaging Content Again
How long does it take you to come up with an amazing social media post for your company? If you’re like me, it’s usually a few days of racking my brain, writing, and rewriting, then working up the courage to post.

According to Social Marketing experts, Fire Source Media, the sweet spot is posting once per day. If you have over 10k followers, you’ll need to up that to 2X per day.

Step 1) Create a posting plan.
- This step is the easiest to skip and that’s why most social marketing efforts fail. Your audience is looking for the two “C’s”: consistency and coherency. Design a plan that uses several posts to tell a single story. Think of it like episodes of your favorite TV show. If all the “episodes” work together to tell one story, you excitedly wait to see what happens next!
Step 2) Gather the content for the plan.
- Now you know how much content you really need to tell your story. Yes, it’s going to be a lot. See last month’s blog post for easy ways to use what you already have for content. Everything you created needs to be QUALITY. If you’re making a video, leverage that full process to create posts with meaningful content beyond just the end product video. Squeeze every dollar out of production day by utilizing behind-the-scenes (BTS) photos, sizzle reels, product/service pics, mini interviews from the day of filming, and so on. This is your content treasure trove!
Step 3) Be faithful in executing the plan.
- You have a plan, trust the process, now execute. Prep a month’s worth of posts at once. You know the story you’re telling and the content you have to work with. Now it’s time to make it happen.
